EDITORIAL POLICY
Evidence before recommendation.
Entry Tidy publishes research-based guidance for entryway storage decisions. Our standard is practical accuracy: enough evidence, context, and limitation for a reader to act without being misled.
Source priority
- Official manuals, assembly instructions, and manufacturer specifications
- Official US retailer listings for the exact model and variant
- Authoritative safety guidance when relevant
- Reputable specialist sources
- Clearly limited owner-feedback samples
- Editorial inference labeled as inference
Product identity and freshness
Product names alone are not enough. Commercial coverage must identify the exact model, size or variant, US-market availability, and checked date. We avoid static prices because they change. Older evidence is refreshed when it could alter fit, safety, availability, or a purchase decision.
Measurements and capacity
Capacity depends on usable shelf width, shoe dimensions, spacing, doors, trim, and clearance—not only a product label. Estimates state their assumptions. Manufacturer claims remain labeled as claims and do not become verified real-world capacity without supporting evidence.
Hands-on and AI disclosure
We do not write “tested,” “we used,” or similar language without original evidence. AI tools may assist with organization, comparison, drafting, or mechanical checks. They do not replace source verification, editorial review, or accountability, and AI output is not treated as evidence.
Commercial independence
Entry Tidy does not currently claim membership in an affiliate program. Future affiliate relationships will be disclosed before monetized links appear. Payment, free products, or outreach do not guarantee coverage, ranking, or a positive conclusion.
Corrections
Material corrections should improve the live page, not disappear into private notes. Send the page URL, disputed text, and supporting source to admin@entrytidy.com. We review evidence and update content when warranted.
